I applied for Erasmus Mobility with enthuziasm, emotions and, why not admit it, a little fear of the unknown. When I found out that I would go to Greece, I was happy and impatient, especially because I had never left my country before. In addition to the unconditional support of my parents, I enjoyed the encouragement of Professor Carmen Tcaci, without whose support, I would not have seen this opportunity in such beautiful colours.

Therefore, I set off, confident, with positive expectations, eager to discover new things related to Greek culture and history.

The road to Greece was a beautiful experience, even though we were tired, we enjoyed the views.

When I arrived in Greece, I discovered different nationalities, a new way of teaching, based on playing and trust, Greek culture, all of which enlarged my horizons of knowledge. The interaction with the Greek students was unexpectedly good, they were welcoming, I appreciated their education and teamwork.

The daily trips made me feel like I was on vacation, I visited Olympus Mountain, the White Tower of Thessaloniki, and the visit to Meteora Monasteries made me feel closer to God.

Although I didn’t know my colleagues with whom I went on the trip, only through participating in the Olympiad, we interacted very well, and the accompanying teachers, Apetroaie Ioana Gabriela and Mercore Mihaela, made me feel safe every day, they were with us in this adventure called Erasmus, giving us confidence and posivity, for that I am grateful to them!

From this experience I learned first off all a lot about myself, the fact that I can easily adapt to new situations, I enriched my knowledge, it made me see the world with different eyes, I was able to make comparisons between the Greek education system and the one I am used to.

In short, Erasmus made me richer spiritually, I left with only pleasant memories that I will remember for the rest of my life. I encourage students to give themselves the chance to participate in a project of such magnitude, they will not regret it!

I, for one, am grateful for everything I have experienced and seen. A thousand thanks to all the people who contributed to the creation of this phenomenon called Erasmus!
